Reflection for sa1

Although i did not take most of the sa1,but i did it.It was extremely bad.I only met my english and chinese targets.I will continue to work hard to meet my targets by doing a lot of practices and read more story books and also play lesser computer games and watch lesser tv programmes.

How did i spent my holidays

My holidays were boring.I just did homework and assessments,watch televison,play computer,read some books and went for cca.I fell sick for 2 days.

Will the plant be affected is any way if it is too hot or cold?

Too hot or too cold will harm the plants by killing its cells.The plants will wither and die eventually.Plants grow best in a room teperature room.

Why was elizabeth choy famous?

Elizabeth choy is a Hakka from North Borneo who is noted for being a war-time heroine during the Japanese occupation and the only woman member in the Legislative Council in 1951. She worked as a teacher and became the first principal of the Singapore School for the Blind. She was also known for her qipaos and bangles, for which she was nicknamed "Dayak woman of Singapore".

Pyramid and Prism

A pyramid is a building where the outer surfaces are triangular and converge at a point. Experience in 5G

Ms Zarinah is not strict and she is a very nice teacher.Although she gives lots of homework but i think it is for our own good.Overall,i think i am pleased this year and hope that she is my next year form teacher.Her teaching methods are easy to understand.I hope next year i can do much betterthan this year as i am not very happy with my sa2 results this year.

Water itself is not a conductor of electricity. In order for a substance to carry charge, two conditions must first be met:

these particles must be free to move It is true that in water (H2O) the discrete molecules are free to move, however, they carry no charge. The only reason water can sometimes conduct electricity is because of the minerals (metallic solids) already present in the water.
Therefore , pure water is not a conductor of electricity, but if it contains the slightest amounts of salt or mineral solids then it will be.

What can we do to prevent ourselves from electrical shock?

Do not ever touch wires with wet hands and not overload a power point.

An event that i will not forget

The event that i will not forget is the ne show. I got drenched from head to toe.The rain started around the end of the show. The rain just came suddenly and i have no time to take out my umbrella. On my way back, i was shivering in the bus.

Food for thought

A:I prefer eating at home because it is healthier.

Q: How do you keep your room clean?
A: I keep my room clean by keeping the books neatly into a drawer.I also clean my table daily.

Q: Do you assist your family with the housework?
A:I help them by mopping the foor and washing the dishes after dinner.

Q: How will you help someone in need?
A:I will help him/her to think of a solution.

Q: What will you do if you witness an unkind deed?
A:I will persuade the person to stop doing that.

My emotions

When i sang it in a happy tone,i felt excited and my tone is uplifting.When i sang it in a sad tone,i felt like as if i am crying.When i sang it in a frightened tone,i would feel very scared and will not want to sing in any more.

How did spend my national day holidays?

On Friday,i went to the library with my sister and we borrow some books. We spend 2 hours of our time there.
On Saturday,i had my tution and i watch television.
On Sunday,i went out in the afternoon to eat dinner.Then,i went to play computer and watch television.
On Monday,i had my tution early in the morning and i also sleep for 1.5 hours in the afternoon as i was very tired.

NPD SHOW

I was so excited!We sat on the bus for more than 30 mins and reach there finally. The show was wonderful but in the end of the show, it started to rain heavily. I was drenched from head to toes. Luckily i have umbrella with me but it was no use at all. My shoes was soaked with water and i have no shoes to wear on Monday. Overall , I think it was exciting.

The Science Centre Trip

Today,my class went to science centre.We have a lesson on DNA.I found the lesson very interesting.We learnt more new things and more knowledge.
