what is a geyser and how does it form?

A GEYSER IS A HOT SPRING CHARACTERIZED BY INTERMITTENT DISCHARGE OF WATER EJECTED TURBULENTLY AND ACCOMPANIED BY A VAPOUR PHRASE.

THE FORMATION OF GEYSER IS DUE TO PARTICULAR HYDROGEOLOGICAL CONDITIONS'WHICH EXISTS ONLY A FEW PLACES ON EARTHAND SO THEY ARE A FAIRLY RARE PHENOMENON.N GENERALLY ALL GEYSER FIELD SITES ARE LOCATED NEAR ACTIVE VOLCANOESAREAS'AND THE GEYSER EFFECT IS DUE TO THE PROXIMITING OF MAGMA.
