An Accident on a Rainy Day

It was a total darknest. The last sound I heard was a blaring car horn.Blood trickled down my forehead as my vision blurred.Soon after,I lost consciousness.
It was at first an extremely warm day.The school bell rang and all the student dashed out of the school gate. Some of them were waiting impatiently for the bus at the bus stop while the other walked home in heavy steps.I was perspiring profusely under the scorching sun.I wished I could drink a glass of ice lemon juice or take a refreshing shower at that moment.Out of the blue, thick black ominous clouds covered the sky and was released as a sudden shower. That was when I regretted not heeding my mother's advice to carry an umbrella.I was left with no choice but to run home.
Before long,I was soaked from head to toe.My teeth chattered vigorously in the rain.I decided not to wait for the green man and without a second thought,I dashed across the road.I lost my balance and slipped onto the slippery road. Before I could even get up,a black car sped towards me .The car was so fast that I did not have time to react.I flew a few metres away, and my four limbs glued on the ground.
I opened my eyes and saw my mother sobbing and my father trying to calm her down.My left foot and right arm were bandaged and my head was throbbing.Upon seeing that I was awake,my mother held my hand in a caring manner. When I finally remembered the traumatic ordeal I had encountered,I promised to carry an umbrella to school in the future regardless of rain or shine.
